Application Development based on GSSE
![]() |
Investigations of the applications developed during the last years have shown that the topological structures can be abstracted and generalized into a generic topology library (GTL). This new approach of a generalized topology enables a new functional description for the discretization of PDEs without sacrificing any performance. This is accomplished in our generic functor library (GFL). The GFL is based on top of a generic algebra library (GAL) which implements algebraic structures for groups, semi-rings, rings, and fields. The GFL is closely linked to our generic solver interface (GSL). The GSL decouples all relevant matrix-solver interface issues.
We demonstrate the development of simple applications which solve various tasks in the field of scientific computing, such as ODE, PDE, implicit surfaces, Monte Carlo simulations (particle simulation), and mesh related tasks.
